Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
- 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
- 1 premade 9-inch deep dish pie shell
Instructions
- Mix together the sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, ground ginger, and ground cloves in a small bowl
- Beat eggs in a separate large mixing bowl
- Add pumpkin puree to the mixing bowl with the eggs
- Add the sugar and spice mixture to the bowl with the eggs and pumpkin puree
- Mix the mixture until it is well combined
- Slowly add in the evaporated milk making sure to mix well, the mixture should be thin and light orange.
- Pour the mixture into the pie shell and place in the oven
- Cook the pie at 425 for 15 minutes and then lower the heat to 350 and bake the pie for 30-40 minutes.
- Let it cool for 2 hours before serving it or putting it into the fridge. Enjoy!
